TeitlLetter from John Tudor at Ross to Dr Edward Wynne, Chancellor of Hereford at Ruthin
DisgrifiadHas sent with his letter the substance of what the Doctor thinks Wynne may write to the Chancellor of Worcester; he [the doctor] further thinks it will look better if he writes from Denbighshire. The Doctor has heard from Mrs Lloyd since the writer's last letter to Wynne, that the Chancellor of St Asaph had not entered the appeal then but only against her enrolling. Believes the Doctor has determined to take May for his residence, so Wynne will meet with housekeeping when he comes to Hereford. Thinks Wynne had no ale of his own; he might have had a barrel brewed when the writer's maid was over there. Dick Lloyd intends to go to orders at Trinity next; his brother should send him a return in the meantime; Robin studies hard they say.

Postscript: Hearing just now by a post letter that one Ralph Wilson of Hereford diocese is like to be presented to the Bishop of Worcester for institution to the parochial church of some considerable market town in Worchester diocese, the writer concludes from the character of the man that this report is without foundation
