TitleLetter from Robert Twigge at Dublin to John Owen of Penrhos
DescriptionWould have acknowledged Owen's letter of the January 30th sooner, but waited to hear from Mr Simon from London, which he did last post and appends a copy of his letter. Owen will see from this that the money he lent Simon lies ready, which he desires to pay. So let him send a word to the writer if he has any friends in London he would like it to be paid to. Owen will further see from Simon's letter that he intends to fit the ketch again; so there is no thought of buying her. Believes as Owen does that the mate's neglect will make all things belonging to the ketch in a bad condition.
'I pray when you see my Docktress the widow Stevens give her my humble service & tell her that ye effect upon me that I grow now ffat and am better than I have been all my life'.

'Copie' Dennis Simonte to Robert Twigge. Has sent him the letter to desire him to do the writer the favour to return the money he had of him and likewise the vessel's stock, which will be about £100, and when it pleases God to send the writer to the vessel and she is fitted, he will serve Twigge before any person in Dublin
