Description | Has received the letter of April 20th. As for his bill, he has sent in his last letter an account of what all his quarterage come to and some other things. As for his uncle's quilt and blankets at C[hrist] C{hurch] he has not yet been with Mr Walls, not that he thought but that he could easily give them to him but that he was not in haste and could stay till his uncle wrote; because it was but Lady Day that the writer paid for the hire of a bed and he had hired it for another quarter. Has in his last letter written for a book which either was left at Bodewryd or lost - a Greek book with maps in it. Believes he shall want either a dust coat or something before long because his drugeth cost is grown something bare having worn it every day since he had it to come to Oxford. Sends his duty to her and love to his sister Ellin, Aunt Catherine, etc. Is sorry to hear his uncle Pierce Lewis is so ill |
