TitleCorrespondence from Edward Kynaston to Chancellor Edward Wynn.
DescriptionInforms him of case laid before Dr. Henchman at the instance of Mrs. Wynn for the Dean of the Arches to grant an original citation against Wynn to show cause why her alimony or separate maintenance should not be advanced. If a suit is begun they must take out a process against Wynn in a cause first of restitution of conjugal rights, and if he takes her home there is an end to the story.

Dorse - copy of Wynn's reply dated 24 February 1731-32. If his unfortunate wife had at heart a sincere desire of a restitution of conjugal rights, she should have prevailed upon herself long ago to have taken prudent methods to obtain it. But as it is an augumentation of allowance she solely aims at, so his difficulty will be how to be secured of quiet etc., in conesequence of such an augumentation.
