Disgrifiad | Enclosing some verses of his on "The Thrush in Penrhos Gardens". Has been busy attempting to raise a cenotaph to the memory of his "mental friend" David Hughes (founder of the Beaumaris Grammar school). The cenotaph, bearing an inscription composed by Llwyd, was erected in Beaumaris parish church in 1808 - see 'Poetical Works of Richard Llwyd' pp. xxxvi-xxxvii. Desires her to intercede with Lord Bulkeley on behalf of an aunt and uncle of his who are anxious to secure the post of gatekeepers to his Lordship. |
