Disgrifiad | Main bequests to her grandson William Owen, son of her son John Owen who died in 1712; it is a somewhat sad fact that this grandson died in 1721, but evidently after the above codicil was drwn up. Several sums to other grandchildren. Rest and residue of her property to be divided between her daughter Jane, wife of William Jones of Plas Gwyn and that daughter's son William [the younger], who also were to act as executors. Lettice Owen herself was daughter to Richard Parry of Madyn Dysw by Amlwch; she lived on for ten years after this will of 1717, and died 93 years of age. |
