TeitlDeed to lead the uses of a fine and recovery at Great Sessions on various messuages and tenements in the parishes of Llanddyfnan, Pentraeth and Trevor by Hugh Arthur of Gray's Inn [son and heir of Hugh Arthur, late of Pentraeth, deceased] and Ellen Arthur, mother of the said Hugh, in order that Richard Jones, citizen and merchant tailor of London, should eventually stand seised of them.
DisgrifiadJohn Arthur of Beaumaris and William Jones of Llangwyllog are named as parties to the transaction.
The main interest of the document is the proof, together with the genealogical facts stated by J.E.G. (Pedigree, 70), that Ellen Arthur was sister to Richard Wynn of Treffos [whose wife Catherine was aunt to William Jones of Plas Gwyn]. According to the Pedigrees, she lived till 1713, and was buried on 17 Sept. in that year
