DescriptionThe first is a letter from Sir Robert Williams of Nant (for further references to him see PN/I/211-349) to O.A. Poole, one of the Plas Newydd agents, offering to second the nomination of the Hon. Berkeley Thomas Paget as a candidate for the county seat.
PN/I/4 is a draft address by Berkeley Paget to the free holders of Anglesey thanking them for returning him to Parliament for the third time

AdminHistoryBerkeley Paget was the sixth son of Henry, 1st Earl of Uxbridge; first returned as memer for Anglesey in 1807; re-elected 1810 on accepting office as Junior Lord of the Treasury; also re-elected 1812 and 1818; he and his two brothers, William and Arthur Paget, held the seat between them for 30 years from 1790 to 1820 - see Williams : op. cit. p.7
