DisgrifiadOf particular interest are two letters from William Owen the Antiquarian, better known as William Owen y Pab a familiar figure in the literary circles of Caernarvon in this period : (for further particulars of his life and literary activities see J.E. Lloyd : "Owen Glendower", Appendix III, p.p. 157-8). Both are addressed to the Marquess of Anglesey, the first offering to provide proof from the Exchequer rolls that Lord Boston's claim to Bangor Ferry was groundless (2859) and the second, written from London, informing his Lordship that the whole of Boston's Llanidan estate was by right the property of the Pagets who purchased it our of Chancery and presented it to Boston's grandfather for the term of his life only (2901).
