Description | Requesting confirmation and further details of the election agreement of 1832 between Sir Richard Bulkeley and Lord Anglesey, whereby the latter gave up all claims to the county in return for the former's sponsorship of one of Lord Anglesey's sons as member for Beaumaris. As the Marquess has no son of suitable age at the time, his nephew Frederick Paget was brought it. The writer now enquires whether her son George can come in at the next election, and wishes furthermore to establish the right that Lord Anglesey has to bring in a son, should he so desire, in accordance with the agreement, and without displeasing Sir Richard Bulkeley. |
