DescriptionRegarding the Anglesey County Election of 1794.
Discussing prospects. Is delighted with the chance of "getting Arthur to England" (Arthur Paget, his third son, who was elected as the county representative in this electioon in place of his brother William) (11). He can rely on Lord Bulkeley for every support (12); as for Rice Thomas's tenants, he knows that Williams has a hold on them, while by proper management Mrs Owen (of Penrhos0 might be made to break the force of the Stanley interest (13). A possible source of trouble may be Mrs Meyrick (of Bodorgan), but whatever happen, he is determined to "Battle if necessary rather than part with my hold" (14)
