Desires to be buried alongside his wife. Bequeaths £5 to the poor of the parish of Gresford, 40/- towards the repair of Gresford Church, £100 towards the maintenace of the hospital in the Rosseth-Greene; and a further £100 which he has left in the hands of "my good sonne in law John Griffith, Esq." to be delivered to his nephew Sir John Trevor to be devoted to the relief of the poor. Sir John Trevor is also to have all his movable goods "except such trifles as in my truncke and boxes".
All the rest of his personal estate to go to his daughter Magdalen Bagnall of Plas Newydd. Appoints his son-in-law Evan Lloyd of Yale as his executor.
He leaves instructions to his daughter Magdalen (these are not to be constructed as any part of the will) concerning the disposal of the house and adjoining land called the Lady's Bower, the house in Merford, the lands in Allington and in Powis and the houses in Wrexham |
