There are also various written notes on each page recording Christian days of celebration, special services in the cathedral and elsewhere, secular holidays and days of significance, college and student activities, examinations and deaths. interesting references are to the death and state funeral of Sir Winston Churchill in January 1965 and the tragic Aberfan disaster and the collection fund in October 1966.
