AdminHistoryArchdeacon John Ellis (1674-1735) is a central figure in the politics of Bangor Cathedral in the early 18th century and integrated himself into the existing gentry families of Lleyn including the Lloyds at Trallwyn and the Williams of Brondanw. His descendants married the Cloughs of Plas Clough in Denbighshire and the quarry owners, Whitehead Greaves of Glangwna, Bron Eifion and Wern.
