Title	Letter from Delamre, Roddick & Colvin, Land Agents, Valuers and Surveyors, Strand, London, to the Secretary of the Building Committee
Description	As the Managers of Sir Pyers Mostyn's Quarries at Talacre, all the official communications connected with the tendering for the University passed through their hands or their representative at the Quarries. They were informed by Members of the University Council that the Committee had decided to select Talacre Stone, and as such, instructed for the Quarry to be opened out so that a large supply of stone might be available when the contract was accepted. They were later informed that a contract had been provisionally accepted for Cefn. The Company express their concern for the workmen, and hope that the Committee [Building] reverses their decision.
