1639 - Probate of the will (16 July, 1589) of William ap David ap Robert of Abergelley. Bequeaths a hoop of wheat towards the reparation of the churchyard wall in Abergele and half a hoop of wheat to the parish clerk, Morice ap William, to be delivered to him within a week of his burial. Bequests of stock (cattle, sheep, lambs etc.) to his brother and cousins, and to Piers Holland, esq. who is also to have all money due to the testator by bonds or otherwise and all writings and conveyances due to him. Appoints the said Piers Holland as his executor
1640 - Award of John Lloyd and Hugh Lewis ap david, gent, in a dipsute between John Griffith ap David ap Richard and Alice, his wife, of the one part and John ap John Thoma of the other part touching rights of way over each other's lands in Abergele. Attached Bond for the observance of the terms of the award
