One of the set of drawings (PEN/V/869) is referred to in his letter to Humphreys dated March 29, 1698/9 [See PEN/V/237]. PEN/V/869 also includes sketches of various fossils discovered at Caldey Island and Pyrton Passage on the Severn Shore; and presumably added by Lhuyd to his collection at the Ashmolean Museum
873-90 - Eighteen papers and fragments containing rough notes by Humphrey Humphreys, Bishop of Bangor - mainly of ecclesiastical interest. Includes Catalogues of the Deans of Bangor and St Asaph since 1500; brief accounts of the preferments of various clergymen in the two dioceses; "Viri clari of Wales since 1660", etc
