Letter from William Bodvell at Bodfan [Llandwrog] to John Bulkeley [no doubt J.B. of Bwlchanen, who had married Bridget, sister of the fifth Viscount Bulkeley, and was one of his agents] Complaining that the Lord's tenants behaved badly towards Owen ap William Daniel and Edward Jones near Melin y Marchog; if these ills cannot be rectified, there is nothing for it but an "appeall to some Court of Justice". W.B. was son to Lloyd Bodvel, the bitter opponent of the fourth Viscount about 1708-1715, and no love was lost between the two families 5 June 1737
