Surrender, comprehensive and without reserve (8 Oct., 1641), by Robert Bulkeley of St. Clement Danes, co. Middlesex, of all right and claim to the Bulkeley estates; release to Thomas Bulkeley [later first Viscount] and to Richard his son and heir from all actions, suits, &c. whatsoever. The first two witnesses are Cheadles - Thomas and a Richard [not Richard the father, the old rent-gatherer of the third Sir Richard who was long dead], very possibly the later Major Richard Cheadle who showed the Parliament's troops in 1648 how to approach Anglesey 8 October 1641
