Deed of mortgage by William Bulkeley of Coeden [i.e., a Bulkeley of Brynddu, father of the W.B. who married a daughter of Dr. Richard Parry, Bishop of St. Asaph] to Sir Richard B., upon various properties in Beaumaris, viz., three fields upon the north side of the Town Hey and between that and Tyddyn y Nant, one little field on the north side of British Brook, two fields between Tyddyn y Nant and lands belonging to Sir Richard, and Tyddyn y Nant itself; consideration, £98; final term of redemption, All Saints in 1605. With this doct. is another, dated 19 Oct.,1603, which records a mortgage of the same premises, in identically the same words throughout, by William Williams of Cochwillan to William Bulkeley of Coedan for £98 consideration, which are described as part payment of W.B.'s “marriage goods", that is, the marriage portion of Mary, daughter of William Williams and W.B.,'s first wife 28 October 1603
