Deed of lease, with counterpart by William Griffith of [Neuadd] Coedana, to Thomas Bulkeley of Mathafarn Wion, upon a parcel of land lying in the middle of a close called Cae Meysydd Llwydion which was itself part of a tenement called Plas Gronw ap Howel alias Plas Gronw Ucha; annual rent, eleven pence. Later, if not at this time, Thomas Bulkeley [younger brother of the second Sir Richard Bulkeley], himself held Plas Gronw, and married Catherine, daughter of David Lloyd of Marian Heilyn in Llanddyfnan 6 February 1578-1579
