There is a somewhat curious array of witnesses: Robert ap Richard [with whom Sir Richard had a Lawsuit and whose lands he eventually purchased]; Thomas Griffith of Parys by Amlwch, son of the John G. and nephew of the Humphrey G., whose quarrels were settled by Sir Richard’s grandfather and grandmother (BHILL/1375); William David of Penmon; and "Hen. Bangor", i.e., Henry Rowlands, the Lord Bishop 8 August 1597
