Arbitrament and award of William Thomas of Aber [son to the famous Captain William Thomas who was killed at Zutphen in 1586) and Richard Boulton of Beaumaris upon matters in contention between Thomas Bulkeley of Llanfairfechan [second son of the third Sir Richard Bulkeley] and John Powell of Llanfairfechan aforesaid. Refer to the labour, charge and burden of the award and the deliberate weighing of the evidence placed before them. John Powell from henceforth to disclaim all right to two seats in the church of Llanfairfechan, “being sometime the seates of Robert ap Richard, esquier, now deceased", or to the sepulchre or burying-place once belonging to the said R. ap R. and his ancestors: T.B. to acquit and release J.P. of the consequences of certain trespasses which the latter has committed, on payment of sixpence; J.P. to acquit Thomas Bulkeley and one Hugh ap Humphrey for or concerning the casting away or taking up of a certain hempe (sic) of the said Powell, out of a water pond or pool; all suits and proceedings begun by one against the other at the Council of the Marches or at the Quarter Sessions, to be discontinued 8 November 1625
