Two acquittances and a quitclaim (20 May, 1626; 18 May, 1627; 18 Decr., 1628) by Gaynor Hookes of Conway, widow, to Thomas Bulkeley of Llanfairfechan; apparently, he owed her the sum of £3.10.0. a year issuing out of her dower orp jointure lands in commete Uchaf. There is only one Gaynor in the Hookes pedigree (293) * where she is described as the widow of Robert Salesbury.
