Deed of mortgage by Rolland ap Hugh ap Thomas ap Robert of Bangor alias Rolland Thomas, to Sir Richard Bulkeley, upon two houses with gardens, buildings and all appurtenances, which were purchased and occupied by Dr Roland Thomas, Dean of Bangor, deceased, lying between the "schoolehouse" [the first Friars' School] and the bank or sea-side of the bay of Bangor; terms of redemption, payment of £7 at the Feast of All Saints next ensuing. This Rolland ap Hugh was a nephew of the Dean 4 July 1589
