"A True copy of a Manuscript in the possession of the Revd Mr Richard Griffith Vicar of Carnarvon" Viz., "The Matters proved against the Lord Bishop of Bangor [Dr Lewis Bayly] in the Commons House of Parliament", under 18 heads. Notwithstanding the imposing number, the document is of little importance, since there are plenty of similar impeachments in the Gwydir Papers. Still, it is getting increasingly difficult to believe that the Bishop ever wrote the Practice of Pietie! No date is attached to the original, but circa 1627. Nor is it easy to discover a Richard Griffith as vicar of Caernarvon c.1627
