Deed of lease by Thomas Bulkeley of Dinas to Thomas Wheldon of Penrhyn Du, co, Carn., upon the messuage or tenement of Tyddyn Telgoch in the parish of Llanengan, now in the occupation of Elizabeth Gunnys and Jane Parry, widows; 21 years at 40/- a year and also paying 10/- for every ton of lead ore (every ton being 20 cwt. and every cwt. - 120 lbs.) merchantably washed and dressed during the said term; every 28 days such ore to be conveyed to a storehouse now standing upon the premises to be weighed and assessed, one key to be kept by Wheldon, the other by one of T.B.'s representatives; penalty for not working the mines and keeping them in sufficient repair, unless hindered by domestic or foreign war, or for want of wind or by [reason of] over-much water. It is next to certain that this Llanengan property came to T.B. through his wife Jane, daughter and co-heiress of Griffith Jones of Castellmarch 1694
