Seven papers relating to exchange of lands bewteen Lord Bulkeley and the Rev Hugh Davies Griffith, rector of Llanbedr y Cennin who through his mother had inherited the lands of the Davies family in Caerhun, with whose ancestors Sir Richard Bulkeley [third] had waged a large number of law-suits. This particular rector [he was followed by a son of exactly the same name] died in 1802. Curiously, he owned some property in Beaumaris itself, which was a componenet part of the suggested exchange 1797-1799
