In March he pays "subscription to Mr Wyatt against Poachers, £10.10.0" (probably one of the societies for the defence of property organised at this period); on June 16 he pays £7.7.0. for a dinner ticket to entertain the Prussian Marshal Blucher at Boodle's in London; in August the Druid Society gets £2.2.0. and in October a Dr Pring receives £2.2.0. (was he Dr Joseph Pring organist of Bangor Cathedral?) In the same month he subscribes as much as £12 to the Pwllheli Hunt</dc:description>
