  <dc:title>Scrap-Book</dc:title>
<dc:description>The volume is an old Signal-Log for use by H.M. ships, and each page bears a printed heading to this effect. The contents include many newspaper cuttings in English and Welsh, relating to people and events in Marianglas, Moelfre, Llanallgo, etc, and to Welsh exiles in America. Topics are varied, ranging from national events and wartime Britain, to affairs of the sea (and Moelfre lifeboat in particular) and the travels of John Williams Hughes. Obituaries, telegrams, wedding cards and memorial service programmes abound, and there are numerous loose enclosures. An interesting feature is the lists at the end, of births, marriages and deaths in the locality (1920-45), and general notes in manuscript (1929-39).</dc:description>
