Special Events Meetings Many papers referring to events/meetings that were held as part of the programme for the Centenary Year. These included the Russian Book Illustrators exhibition; Centenary Exhibition; Centenary Lectures; Classical association Conference; Colloquium of Bioelectronics and Biosensors; Department of Mathematic lectures; Guild of Graduates involvements; Open Day at the College Farm, Aber; the use of Bron Castell for Foundation Day; Department of English Symposium at Gregynog; History department Colloquium; contributions and proposals from the Department of Extra-Mural Studies; a list of Public Lectures; various other lectures for example the Mary Rose lecture; the Arts Faculty Open Day; the Music Department -Centenary Concert, Centenary Service in the Cathedral; Engineering Symposium; proposals from the department of linguistics who wished to link their celebrations of twenty five years as a department to the centenary programme; Centenary Eisteddfod. Also included are various suggestions for lectures / events / meetings to be included in the programme but which for a variety of reasosn were not.
