<dc:description>- author unknown - taken by one of the Rooses of Bryntirion, Amlwch, brother in law to John Owen, and adapted by the latter
The occasions of preaching some of the sermons (51-74) are not devoid of interest. 51 did duty for a fast day for the earthquake of 1756 and for another fast day in 1760. 52 was preached on a fast day "for ye war in 1758." 59 is an Assize sermon, 68 was first preached at a Gaol (name not given) on 14 February 1808, and 74 was found useful for a gwylmabsant at Llanfihangel yn Nhowyn (October 1821).</dc:description>
