<dc:title>Paper relating to the devolution of Brithdir Bach and Carnamwys</dc:title>
<dc:description>They refer to the release in trust (1713) by William John Girffith and his wife Jane [granddaughter of Robert Maurice] to their son John; the latter willed the property to his sister Dorothy, wife of Owen John ap Probert of Cefn Coch; eventually it fell to their son William, variously described as of Llannerch, co. Denbigh, and of Blaenau, Parish of Nantglyn in the same county; by his Will of 5 September, 1770, he bequeathed them to his nephew Owen Griffith of Cefn Coch.

Document 440 is very informing on these transitions, and their background of indentures.</dc:description>
