<dc:title>Bond of Obligation in £400 to cover £200</dc:title>
<dc:description>by Barbara Roberts of Goppa, widow [mother of the Rev. Robert Roberts of Llanrhaeadr] and Robert Roberts himself to Robert Anwyl of Braich-y-Saint, clerk. This Robert Anwyl must have been the vicar of Llandrillo-yn-Edeirnion since 1776 (Thomas: St. Asaph, III, 104), son of Lewis Anwyl, vicar of Abergele, both of whom appear in the Braich-y-Saint table because Lewis Anwyl had married Owen, one of the daughters of Robert Griffith of Braich-y-Saint and Tan-y-Bwlch (Pedigrees, 267). Interest on this bond was paid as late as 1803.</dc:description>
