<dc:title>Marriage settlement of William Lloyd of Llansadwrn, and Margaret, daughter of Rowland Jones of Plas Gwyn; feofees in trust were Hugh Williams of Chwaen Isa in Llantrisant, Richard Wynne of Treffos, William Jones of Plas Gwyn, and Edward Lloyd of Pentraeth; portion, £120</dc:title>
<dc:description>It is not easy to fix the 'Richard Hughes' who stands first in the list of witnesses. It could not well have been W.J.'s brother-in-law of Chwaen Ddu, because of the strained feelings between them arising out of the litigation of 1671-1678 (documents HEN/42-47). Richard Hughes of Castellior is too young; his name becomes prominent in wills of 1738 and 1748. The young wife was sister to Dr John Jones, the philanthropic Dean of Bangor</dc:description>
