  <dc:description>John Jones of Henllys, the ultimate legatee, demised the premises by mortgage to Herbert Jones on 26-27th February, 1760, he being described as "late of (Llynon in) Llanvaethly ... and now surgeon on board His Majesty's ship the Yarmouth"; next year (14th and 15th June, 1761) Herbert Jones assigned the mortgage to (the first) Paul Panton of Plas Gwyn; he in turn assigned the same to James Brisco, officer of Customs at Beaumaris who had married Ann Prytherch of Tregayan (23rd and 24th March, 1763).</dc:description>
