<dc:title>Burial certificate of Jane Evans of Glan Alaw, widow of William Evans the elder</dc:title>
<dc:description>How could William Evans have married a second time in 1807 (according to the Pedigrees) if his first wife was still alive? Nor can 6 April 1806 - the date of her burial in Pedigrees - be said to be a misprint - it was necessary for her to die in 1806 (or before) before William Evans could re-marry in 1807. The inventory of her goods follows (HENB/328), dated 26 April 1816, as appraised by William Owen of Chwaen Wen and Robert Bulkeley of Gronant.</dc:description>
