<dc:title>Reaction of the wreck of the "Royal Charter" on Moelfre rocks</dc:title>
<dc:description>Legal opinion by Richard Garth of the Temple (1 November, 1859) on the possibility of Lord Boston's claiming the ownership of the wreck as owner of the sea-shore on which it lay - on the whole favourable, but advises thorough search into title-deeds, and the securing of oral evidence regarding his Lordship's ownership of the shore, and gives a warning that even if it is found that L.B is the undoubted owner of the sea-shore between high and low water mark, it does not at all follow he is entitled to wreck; however, once the ownership if the shore is thoroughly established, a jury would be very reluctant not to admit the corollary of the ownership of the wreck. A draft notice of such claim to the district Receiver of Wreck is enclosed</dc:description>
