<dc:title>Papers relating to an exchange of lands under the operation of the Inclosure Acts</dc:title>
<dc:description>Lord Boston exchanges a part of Twll-y-clawdd (3 roods, 39 perches) for a quillet in Twll-y-clawdd, a component part of Holyhead Church glebe (also 3 roods, 39 perches), both being in the occupation of the same person. A good deal of correspondence with this tenant, and with Mr Algeo, the surveyor of Menai Bridge. There are three illustrative plans (LLIG/476-478); full instructions relating to procedure from the Inclosure Comissioners (LLIG/475); and a refreshing (though quite official) admission by the Secretary of the Charity Commissioners (LLIG/474, 3 September 1868) that "in these cases [e.g., Holyhead glebe] the action of the Inclosure Commissioners is more simple and efficacious than that of this Board". The Inclosure Commissioners finally confirmed the order of exchange on 2 December, 1869, between Lord Boston and the vicar and churchwardens of Holyhead (LLIG/492). LLIG/476-478 are maps.</dc:description>
