2. John Arrowsmith, D.D., master of St. John's College, Cambridge, and the Fellows and scholars of the said College.

Copy indenture ratifying and confirming to 2. for ever an annuity or yearly rent charge of £40 p.a. issuing out of lands in Maynan., co. Caernarvon, bequeathed by the said John Gwyn in his Will, dated 1 June, 1574, towards the maintenance of three scholars in the said College.

Denbigh, or in default natives of Nant Conway and Maynan, or in default natives of cos. Caernarvon, Denbigh or Merioneth; and the scholars to be selected from the school of Bangor and to be natives as in the case of the Fellows. Further recites that the said annuity has now been found sufficient to maintain only three scholars.
