Letter from John Vaughan, serving in the army at 7th Hussars, Norwich to John Vaughan (his father) of Nannau In which he enthusiastically describes his time in the army and the endless hunting and point to point events, leading on to the expense required to maintain such a lifestyle. He eventually asks for a loan of £300 this year to tide him over. Interesting to note that he has to buy and provide his own horses although in the cavalry 15 Apr 1899
