<dc:title>Letter from John Jones, Surveyor, of Llanbedr, Ruthin, to Sir John Thomas Stanley.</dc:title>
<dc:description>Submitting his estimate for "the great dam to be done in Anglesea", further apprehends that the expense of completing the road over the sands from the 5 mile stone to the 6 mile stone will be £246 and if the dam is not built the present road will be no signification for the tide will overflow it. therefore the present road including the dam will cost £846 while the new road over the marsh just by it will cost only £369.7.7. and will be perfectly safe from the tide at all times without any dam being made.</dc:description>
