Letter from Owen Bold, Wrexham to his father-in-law, John Owen of Penrhos Has received Owen's letter by cousin Richard Lloyd. Was at Wrexham at Whitsuntide where he gained more than in any other place. Was grounded a little in Arithmetic and also was taught to read. Would gladly have somebody to come to Wrexham to the midsummer fair if it be possible. Has a mind to come home about the Sessions. 29 May 1676
