Copy probate of the will (23rd January 1769) of Edward Edwards of Ruthin, grocer. Among many bequests, leaves his reversio of the Penbedu estate in the parishes of Spyttie [Ysbyty Ifan]and Pemharhas ([sic. Penmachno?]), together with his messuages, lands, etc., in the parishes of Gyffylliog [sic.], Ruthin and Llamhydd [sic.], co. Denbigh, to his nephew John Edwards of Glyn, Esq. Peter Jones of Ruthin, gent. is named executor and residuary legatee. 14 July 1769
