Demise in fee-farm by William Roberts, Archdeacon of Merioneth, to Griffith Johns (alias ap John ap Robert) of a toft called Murddyn Archiagon Meirionydd, a close called Y Cae Crwn belonging to it, lying between a house of Sir Rees Griffith (east), a garden of William Glyn, Sergeant at Arms to the Lord King (west), and bounded also by the highway to Caernarvon and a rivulet called Afon Tranan Annual rent : Twelve pence.
