Old rent-roll displaying the Penrhyn lands at their most extensive development in the days of the third Sir William Griffith. The description at the head seems long ago to have become hopelessly obliterated, but a scribe on the dorse supposes it was temp. Henry VII. An entry concerning Aber Cegin - saying it was held by Harri ap Einion [ap Ieauan Goch] - fixes the date after 1496, when Harri obtained a lease of the same for 20 years (docts.172-173). Probably 1505 will be an approximately correct date for this roll (which supports the supposition of the dorse as to the general date). ?1505
