Such entries as 18/8 paid in April to William Jones, boatmen "for 40 small Newborough Matts to lay between the Sown [Sawn] Slates on the Carts", £1.5.0. in Sept. "for lobster from Llyn" [W.W. sees to it to write Llyn, and not the incorrect Lleyn], and several sums in December for walling at the quay "to keep up the slate mill sand". Twelve papers, each month having a separate account. 1802
