  <dc:description>This bundle mainly comprises of documents and graphs containing statistics of slate and slab sales by Penrhyn Quarries Limited between 1905- 1985. There are numerous pages of handwritten notes and statistics illuminating the sales of slate in tons, the profits made and the average price they were sold. There are 4 graphs showing the average sales of slate between 1905-1985, the profits made between 1900-1955, the average of slate sold in tons 1900-1955 and averages over 20 year periods. There are also documents such as a memorandum by Mr. J.C. Douglas Pennant for the consideration of the Company under item (4) of the agenda for the Annual General Meeting held on 22nd October 1959 and a memorandum by Pritchard, Wood &amp; Partners on Improving the market for slate in the building industry copy of a director report for 1958. This folder also contains a ‘Welsh Slate Industry Report’ by the Committee appointed by the Minister of Works London for 1947.</dc:description>
