<dc:title>Bond of obligation in £120 by Richard Bulkeley of Porthamel to Rowland Owen ap Jenkyn to observe the terms of a deed of assignment.</dc:title>
<dc:description>Parties to Bulkeley in the bond were Elizabeth his wife[ his second wife, daughter of Rhys Wynn of Bodychen], William his [second] son, from his first wife [Margaret Lewis of Presaddfed], and Jane his daughter [from the second marriage], who went far to break the laws of consanguinity by marrying her step-brother Rowland [eldest son and heir of Richard Bulkeley], for which see Pedigrees, 12. Rowland [ap] Owen ap Jenkin was Rowland Owen of Ucheldre, Llansadwrn (Pedigrees, 85). This bond was important enough to be signed by no less than 13 witnesesses.

[Note: The above Jane was not the daughter of Richard Bulkeley at all, but the daughter of his second wife by a former husband, Rowland B. of Cremlyn.]</dc:description>
