<dc:title>Mortgage</dc:title>
<dc:description>1. Ignatus Purcell of Crumlin, co. Dublin, Ireland, Esq.

2. John Madocks of Lincoln's Inn, esq.

Mortgage of divers, messuages, lands and tenements in Llandyrnog, of which a recovery was suffered, 3 & 4 March, 1773, by the said Ignatius Purcell and Mary Ann, his wife. Recites that Jane, the wife of Francis Heny, sister of the said Mary Ann Purcell had set up a claim to one moiety of the premises and bought a bill in Chancery in support of her claim, that the Court had decreed in favour of Purcell and his wife; that furthermore, the said Ignatius Purcell had by deeds of 27 and 28 April 1773 mortgaged the premises to the said John Madocks in consideration of the sum of £1,600; that he had defaulted, and had applied to John Madocks for a further loan of £1,000 upon the security of the premises.</dc:description>
